  An old variety that's stood the test of time, and a real show-stopper with its good-sized, dark green buttons produced abundantly from late autumn through Christmas into the New Year. The plants are tall, handsome and generous, with robust growth and well-packed stems of sprouts with a rich old-fashioned flavour.
  
  
• Growing Instructions:Sow seeds sparingly under cover into pots or seed trays of well-drained seed compost in spring. Pot on seedlings individually as they grow and gradually accustom to cooler temperatures before planting outside in May, spacing plants 60cm apart and firming in well. Keep well-watered, protect from slugs and net against pigeons. Feed plants with liquid seaweed in early summer to give them an extra boost and ensure good crops later in the year.
