Description

This compact greenhouse fits in the same space as a garden bench and comes with a raft of smart technology to make it incredibly easy and productive to grow your own.

It’s designed to let you grow right throughout the year. You can control all aspects of your growing environment, so you effectively get to create the season. If you want to propagate, you can simulate spring by controlling the temperature. To trigger flowering or fruiting, use the LED lights to replicate summer by lengthening the ‘daylight’ hours.

The watering is automatic so you needn’t worry about plants drying out. Automated irrigation delivers specific and regular amounts of water, which is best for plant health, disease prevention, root development and ultimately leads to better yields and growth.

There are three heavy-duty powder-coated shelves (110cm x 40cm) that together will hold up to 20 standard seed trays. If you’d prefer to use pots and containers the shelving can be adjusted to accommodate a variety of sizes.

Developed on the blustery west coast of Wales, it’s very sturdily built from weather-resistant aluminium and 100% recycled clear acrylic. A lid storm lock and door catch will keep plants safe from outdoor weather.

The unit has a sealed, insulated back panel so you can stand it anywhere - indoors or out - and comes supplied with brackets to secure it to a wall, fence or the ground.

LED grow lights for year-round growing

Waterproof LED grow lights replicate the full spectrum of natural sunlight, stimulating photosynthesis and robust plant growth. This model includes 12 grow lights which are fitted under the shelves.

The lights let you grow all through the winter, or can be used at any time of year to boost the light in a north facing garden. You can control the light timings using the Harvst app, with two separate on-times per day.

Self-watering system

An app-controlled dripper irrigation system takes care of the watering for you. Times are set on the Harvst app, from twice a day to once a week, for a duration of one second upwards.

It includes a water pump and a range of drippers, all you need is a water tank nearby. You can adapt your irrigation system to meet your needs by purchasing an additional WaterMate irrigation pack.

Climate control for variable weather

The greenhouse can be temperature controlled via three waterproof low-voltage heater cables. Choose your preferred temperature via the Harvst app, whether it’s to stave off frost during early season sowing or to create ideal conditions for growth. With heaters on full it can maintain a soil temperature at least 10°C above ambient, with no wind chill.

A forced ventilation system ensures fresh air circulates so it won’t get too hot or humid. The fan won’t be activated on cool days, keeping valuable warmth inside. When it’s hot it will work automatically to vent heat and prevent your plants overheating.

Manage and monitor from anywhere via the Harvst app

From your smartphone or tablet, you can adjust watering, temperature and lighting settings using the Harvst app, which is both iPhone and Android compatible.

You don’t need a WiFi connection in your greenhouse, but if you do, you can also benefit from remote monitoring and management, as well as alerts. If you don’t have WiFi available, the system will run with all other features in offline mode.

What can you grow?

Any low height greens that benefit from warmer environments, such as spinach, chard, spring onions, kale, salad leaves, rocket, etc will do really well. Herbs are easy to grow, and some root veg like radish are also possible.

With shelving removed you have a 1.3m growing height for taller veg like tomatoes and chillies, and can also propagate annual, semi-annual or perennial flowers and cuttings. In fact, everything you can do in a full-size greenhouse.
